I am on my 12th day post rhinoplasty. I am overall happy with the shape of the nose; however, I find that (especially in photos) the nose looks rather "fat." Also, I feel like it is still as long as it was before. Am I jumping the gun? Is most of this probably still swelling that needs to do down? I hope this. I would hate to think I went through all this to end up with a big, fat nose! Anybody had the same experience?

Surgery, resources & information: swelling after rhinoplasty

ANSWER: This is very common! Swelling after the surgery will take some time to go down, and the rate at which it's reduced varies from person to person. I don't think you'll wind up with a big, fat nose!!! Just give it time to let the swelling reduce, and you'll be happy... this is quite normal.
